Title:Intermediate statistics in the Landau diamagnetism problem
View PDFAbstract:In the present study we investigate how the magnetization and other thermodynamic quantities in the Landau diamagnetism problem depend on the deforming parameter of two model developing intermediate statistics: $q$-fermions and F-anyons (F-type systems). An important observation in the present study is the fact that for F-anyons statistics the magnetization shows a more strong response with respect to magnetic fields in relation to magnetization for $q$-fermions statistics in the same range of field. This may be verified experimentally, for instance, in superconductors which are perfect diamagnetic materials with strong magnetic susceptibility, by adjusting impurities or pressure if one assumes that the deforming parameter relates with such tuning quantities.
